A New Wiki Site

I found another site for making wikis. It's called Wikispaces. I has a good look at this site and I'm going to have to decide which one is the best out of Wikispaces and Wetpaint.

It seems to far that Wikispaces is a lot simpler to use, but on Wetpaint you can customize the wiki more and make the wiki more detailed. The big plus for Wikispaces is that it has no adds with pictures, so it's better for using with kids, and your wiki looks better without big ugly adds!

A Wiki is a Type of Website.

I looked on Google and found an entry in Wikipedia that said: 'A wiki is a type of website that lets anyone edit or create its pages'.

I also found a website for making wikis. It's called Wetpaint. I'll explore that website to start working out how to make one. I think I'll need to get some people to help me seing as wikis are about having more than one person creating and editing a webpage.

What is a Wiki?

I'm starting a blog about the process of creating a wiki.

At the moment I don't know what a wiki is, so the first step in my process is going to be to find out what a wiki is. I am going to do this by searching on google, using the words 'what is a wiki'. Hopefully this will help me to work it out.

If after searching I'm still not sure, I'm going to ask my friend who I know is really into computers. Maybe they will be able to tell me.
